Viva The Local Pantry: Yorkshire Tapas

Between Leathley and Pool on the Harrogate Road lies The Local Pantry, a newly refurbished shop, kitchen and café, offering delicious Yorkshire food sourced from local farmers, growers, independent producers and businesses.

Behind the recently canopied façade you will find a team bursting with Yorkshire pride - celebrating and selling all that is great about the county - whether you chose to eat in the cafe, buy ready-made or cook from scratch at home.

Owner Suzannah Hepworth and her discerning team of foodies have created a season of supper events, where customers are invited to enjoy a food filled, informal evening, to celebrate all that is great about Yorkshire produce.  The October supper club evening was inspired by flavours from Spain with Yorkshire Tapas style dishes.

Suzannah comments:

“We take great pleasure in creating an enjoyable evening that showcases just what can be achieved with locally sourced produce and Chef Rob’s creativity.”

The next supper event will be held in recognition of British Sausage Week (4th to 10th November). Kendall’s sausages are a popular item with customers and therefore we will be hosting a special Sausage evening on Thursday 7th November. Christmas Supper evenings will run early to mid- December, so if you are looking to enjoy a Banger in November or a Christmas evening with a difference – please book early to avoid disappointment on 0113 203 7361 or email info@thelocalpantry.co.uk.
