The Greenhouse Florist Goes Even Greener

The Greenhouse Florist, the locally respected florists in The Arcade in Ripon is going even greener.  Following some careful thought, owner Amy Slater, has opted to put the business online.  The Greenhouse Florist specialise in bespoke wedding and event flowers, with creativity and clever styling ideas one of their strengths.  With the business going digital, the team look forward to putting all their efforts into growing the business, and working nationally as well as locally.

Amy decided to go online following the rising level of business enquiries over the telephone and on email.  Amy says: ‘Over the last 2 or 3 years, we have done more and more business online.  Our clear digital presence means that we can give potential clients all the inspiration and reassurance they need.  I’d like to think that we still win clients through recommendations, but with our enhanced online presence, we see this as the future of our business.  It also means we cut down on the costs of managing and working at a shop so we can now pass those benefits on to our clients.  All the information will be available through the website, and we’re always delighted to take calls.  The only thing our clients can’t do is smell the flowers online – but who knows what the future holds.’

The Greenhouse Florist will move from its retail unit on 12 April and the new website will be launched from February 2014.  To celebrate, Amy is offering new clients 10% discount for orders placed online before 28 March 2014.
