Fancy a Hawk Walk or a day with our falconers learning about and looking after our beautiful birds of prey? One of the country’s best preserved medieval castles, Bolton Castle in North Yorkshire, offers a variety of falconry vouchers to suit all budgets. A great idea for a memorable gift.
Vouchers start at £60pp and include opportunities such as a fabulous Owl Experience, a Hawk Walk or a Full or Half Day Falconry Experience. Join our welcoming team and spend time learning about, looking after and flying a variety of beautiful birds of prey. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the basics of falconry and get up close to our birds. The Full Day Falconry Experience gives you time to relax and enjoy the castle and gardens at your leisure and includes a half day falconry experience, a light lunch, archery lesson and demonstration, and a chance to enjoy our wild boar feeding.
The Hawk Walk includes a walk around the beautiful countryside surrounding the castle and adjoining land, so you can enjoy the views and hear inspiring falconry insight with a Harris Hawk on your arm.
It's a lovely idea, simple to buy, with vouchers which are valid for 12 months. Minimum age 10 years old and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for Falconry and Afternoon Tea bookings.

Feeling peckish? Then conclude the day with our very special Afternoon Tea in our Tea Room on a linen dressed table, which includes a selection of delicious homemade savouries and cakes, a pot of fine tea, served on a tiered-plate. Afternoon tea starts at £24.50pp.
