Easter is Adventure with a Capital ‘A’ at Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park
Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park, near Ripon in North Yorkshire, has opened for the 2023 season! Fun filled for the Easter holidays, this much-loved family adventure park is perfect for a full day of fresh air and entertainment for children aged 12 with over 40 rides and attractions, a jam packed programme of hands-on activities, and the UK’s largest Tree Top Trail Adventure Nets. All just 10 minutes from Ripon! Meet the newest member of the Lightwater gang, Rex the Valleysaurus who will welcome children with a roar but watch out if he’s feeling hungry it may be a close encounter! Little ones are kept busy with our range of Dino-Easter activities, all included in your admission ticket and children can enjoy our brilliantly crafted rides spread across the Adventure Park in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire. Our fantastic Adventure Park also includes new features such as Woodland Drivers and Dino Dig as well as seeing the return of the family favourite Skate Karts. It’s a full day of fun, fun, fun!

• Crazy Cave Man UV Puppet Show
Join us in Bedrock (the Show Barn) for some pre-historic adventures! Laugh, sing, and join in as our stone-age puppets take to the stage! A yabba dabba doo time is guaranteed.
• Dino Facepainting
What dinosaur do you want to be today? A tiger, a princess, an avenger? With daily face painting you can be whatever you want to be.
Dino Egg Painting
Paint your own Dino Egg in our Young Fun workshop and take your creation home with you.
• Rex's Story Trail
We all know Rex’s favourite meal is people! But he is also quite partial to a good old English breakfast! Problem is cooking isn’t a T-Rex’s strong point so Rex needs your help to find all the ingredients he will need to create and epic breakfast. Join in our NEW interactive digital trail to help Rex and win an Easter treat.
• Dino UV Disco with the Valley Stars!
Get those disco moves and glow sticks at the ready as you bob along to some Dino classics. There will be prizes for the best movers and shakers.
