Kendra’s PR experience ranges from in-house PR management to journalist experience with some of the UK’s major magazine titles. Originally, Kendra managed the UK PR for Newman’s Own, an organisation headed up by the actor Paul Newman which raised funds for charities through the sale of its food products produced under royalty in the UK by the Albert Fisher Group plc. Kendra marketed the product to both consumers and national retailers through regional and national media. This involved promoting the charity aspect of the brand with Paul Newman and his team with work in the UK and the US.
Having built a relationship with the Hearst company in the US through her work with Newman’s Own, Kendra was recruited by the Good Housekeeping magazine to editorially manage the monthly ‘Just for You’ feature in the UK issue with a monthly readership of 3 million. This role evolved to include responsibility for developing commercial initiatives within the magazine and the renowned Good Housekeeping Institute. Kendra worked with the editorial, commercial and central departments to increase revenue, outside of advertising, and to raise the profile of the magazine to increase readership and subscription. Kendra’s experience has enabled her to consider commercial and editorial opportunities to the benefit of her clients. Kendra enjoys strong contacts with the daily and monthly, regional and national press.
